Kalyanathandu hills- The heaven on Earth!

Kalyanathandu with its vast watery breadths and the cool blue hills kissing the skies is surely a heaven on earth. Just climb down the hill and there is the forest, rich in a variety of vegetation and wildlife. From atop Kalyanathandu, the view across the land is breathtaking. If one is lucky enough, he might see elephants crossing the river.
A perfect location for hiking as they trek through the lovely, dark and deep woods is quite an experience. There still lie the remnants of arches and huts built by the forest department. A native said all those were destroyed after clashes between officials. Earlier many tourists used to come here. Devotees use to come during good Friday due to the presence of a wooden cross near the hill and so the place is also known as Calvary Mount.

The Kalyanathandu lays in the lap of our own Idukki, near Painav, the administrative center of Idukki! Instead of the beauty of Idukki Dam, We can see the Sunrise at Idukki Dam inside the snow blanket covered with snow. Sometimes the sun may not be visible due to the heavy snow.
There was heavy fog when we reached there at four o'clock in the morning. Even though we were wearing clothes for the winter, we were shivering. We find vast rock and wait for the sun to rise.
Even those who are close to them can’t see each other due to the snow. I remembered the sunrise I had seen in the snow clouds before. The beautiful sunrise, which turns the silver clouds into golden clouds, was not to be forgotten.

In the fresh excitement given by the beautiful flower, grass, leaves, and twigs with snow particles, we slowly walked up into the meadow. It was a little rough, but we know that it will be a beautiful sight that is waiting for us in that morning. Beyond the vast, lush green valleys that warm your eyes and your mind, this is a great green lake with a pale green (acoustic green) color!

We waited for the divine sight to appear on the brink of the kalyanathandu. Slowly and slowly the greenery came through. Soon after that, we had a beautiful view. We enjoyed the panoramic views of the Idukki Dam beyond the lush green valleys. We went in silence, looking at the beautiful sight without words to describe. We witnessed one of the most beautiful scenes in the universe!we selected kerala tour packages for couple from a tour operator and they guided us in a helpful manner.

Beyond the vast, lush green valleys that warm your eyes and your mind, this is a great green lake with a pale green (acoustic green) color! The little islands, the small islands, the meadows and the big trees inside the lake are just as beautiful as the snows. The sight of the snow rising from the green water, the clouds like the silver lining, the flowers of the grass and the colorful wilderness make for a wonderful experience. What is it like for a trip!

As we walk down into the greenery of the valleys, the distance increases! It was an opportunity to see the true distance of the valley that seemed so close to the top of the mountain. The phenomenon of mountain folding! It was tough and descending, but there was no fatigue as the wind from the water covered the cold.

I remembered the white image of a jet flying through the blue sky when huge fish groups were moving together in the blue sky. The forest has reserved for us enough color pictures that we haven't seen in a long time. The clean air, the water, the sky, the vast world of mind-blowing greenery, the snow that surrounds them all! It was an unforgettable trip for us. It was the best Kerala tour package we selected from the pool of kerala tour packages provided by different people,.But the package to this place was the best choice we made.
