Thommankuthu Falls is another 1500 m high waterfall. Though it is smaller than the other waterfalls, tourists come here to enjoy the scenic beauty of the place and the stunning waterfalls that fall down 7 steps. The Waterfall is located 17 km from Thodupuzha town in Idukki district. The name derives from the tribal captain named Thomman. This waterfall is reminiscent of the man who was drowned away in the river. Rock Climbing, Hiking and Trekking is also available here. For those who are not interested in this, they can select boating, fishing or horseback riding.


Lakkam

A five minutes’ drive from the Munnar town will take you to the adjoining waterfall to the Munnar town, Lakkam waterfalls. Situated in the Munnar-Marayoor route, the waterfall is bounded by ‘Vaga trees’. The waterfall originates from the Eravikulam Highland. Though the river creates lots of waterfalls, most of them are unreachable. But, due to its pictorial treat, this destination is one of the choicest destinations for the tourists.

Thoovanam

Thoovanam waterfall is situated inside the Chinnar wildlife sanctuary. The waterfall is formed by River Pambar. You have to take a hike into the forest in order to reach the waterfalls. It is around 60 km away from the Munnar town. You can enjoy the wonders of wild flora and fauna here. This hiking experience itself makes Thoovanam is different from other waterfalls in Munnar. The trekking starts from the Alampatty Forest check post and it will take about one hour to reach the waterfalls.

Chathurangapara has located 10 km from Udumbanchola in the Idukki district.
The viewpoint is reached by climbing from the Chathurangapara junction. To reach the viewpoint we have to hike up to 2 km from the junction. The distance of about two kilometers from the junction is a little bit difficult. But now you can get to the top in a vehicle so that anyone can easily reach here. 
Upon reaching the top, the first welcome is by the mesmerizing wind. The prevailing winds of the state are increasing as the winds in Tamil Nadu are hitting the canyons of Kerala. The view of the windmills spinning in it is a sight to behold.

Chathurangapara is another place that resembles Ramakkalmede in appearance. There are many windmills are present in this area which provides more beauty to this spot. The view of the windy mills on the mountain which is always covered with snow is a sight to behold. It is also a popular tourist attraction because of this beautiful experience.
